The FTU-R200 series are multi-functional Recloser controllers which provide fault protection, status monitoring and control, metering, event/fault recording and various communication protocols.
Automatic Circuit Recloser(ACR) is mostly used in overhead power distribution line to reduce power outage area when a fault happens in the line and to increase the continuity of a supply of electric power through reclosing tries for temporary fault. Nowadays, various kind of distributed generations is being connected to the distribution line. Therefore, the distribution network is no longer radial system and needs more intelligent protection function such as directional or anti-islanding protection.
FTU provides all needed protection functions for various kind of faults, status monitoring and control of the ACR, measurements of electric quantities of the line, power quality monitoring, event and disturbance waveform recording, and communication interface for SCADA or distribution automation system.
ACR is occasionally used as a feeder circuit breaker in distribution substation. IEC61850(Ed.2) protocol is also included for substation automation.
We support customization of control for satisfying with different requirements of electric utilities.
